Dr. Stacey Strickland Gardner

Dr. Stacey Strickland Gardner received biology and business degrees from Birmingham-Southern College. She went on to receive her Degree of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dentistry. Dr. Stacey found a love of dentistry at an early age since she is from a family of dentists. Dr. Stacey and her husband met at dental school and decided to move to Huntsville, Alabama to begin their practice.

Dr. Stacey is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is an executive committee member of the Speaker of the House of the Alabama Dental Association. She also served as a past president of the Huntsville/Madison County Dental Society and the 8th District Dental Society. In 2014, Dr. Stacey was honored to receive the Most Excellent Fellow Award from the Alabama Dental Association.

When she is not at Gardner Family Dentistry, Dr. Stacey enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Bailey and Maggie. She also spends her free time volunteering around the community.


Dr. Steve Gardner

Dr. Steve Gardner is originally from Waynesboro, Mississippi. He attended Mississippi College for undergraduate studies and obtained a degree in Biology. He then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dentistry to earn his Degree of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.). Dr. Steve did a General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Birmingham. Dr. Steve and his wife, Dr. Stacey, moved to Huntsville to begin their careers and started their dental practice in July 1992.

Dr. Steve has served as president of the 8th District in the Alabama Dental Association and has been a member of the ALDA House of Delegates for several years. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Academy of General Dentistry and is also a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry. In 2014, Dr. Steve received the Most Excellent Fellow Award from the Alabama Dental Association.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gardner’s other passions include snow skiing, golfing, and going to the lake. He also loves spending time with his family.
